Questions & Answers

How do I get started?.

The Creative Process

Regardless of your product (or service), the answers to the following questions will help you and your video producer craft a meaningful production that engages your target audience.

  • Define the primary use or purpose of your product or service
  • Define the top 3 reasons America would want (not need) your product or service
  • Who (in order of priority) would likely use your product or service?
  • Why is your product (or service) better than others (price? ease-of-use? efficacy?)
  • What, if any, are the precautions or warnings related to your product?
  • Has your product been successfully marketed in the past (by you or a competitor)?
  • What has your customer feedback revealed?

The answers to these simple questions will help your production professionals create an outline for your “Production Design,” and lead to the creation of an effective “Shot List” of specific scene choices.

Remember, pre-production planning reduces misunderstandings, minimizes mistakes (in video terminology - “missed-takes”), and in so doing, saves you money!

NOTE: For a truly focused production, if an audio script is required, write this before shooting a single minute of videotape! A script will more easily guide your video, rather than the other way around.

How much will it cost?

Pricing Your Project

There are many factors in pricing out a professional video production. Simplicity may be perfect for some product or service videos, while additional graphics and animation may be necessary to clarify how a unique item works.

Other considerations include production length, the number of talent and locations involved, props, permits, and unforeseen circumstances.

These components are not all part of every production, they are simply details that must be defined to accurately price out your video program.

Remember, the value of a production is not simply how much it costs, but the “future value” of its positive impact on your viewers. Estimates are free, so let’s work together to define your objectives. Once accomplished, we will gladly provide a price-range estimate for your production.
